Problem Statement

Users who make frequent international payments often rely on multiple virtual cards across different platforms and currencies.

Existing solutions often treat virtual cards as isolated features rather than part of a unified financial system.

The challenge was to design a product that allows users to manage multiple virtual cards and currencies effortlessly in one place.

Solution

The solution was a centralized virtual card management app that brings all cards and currencies into a single, intuitive experience.

The design focuses on, a unified dashboard showing total balance across cards, clear separation of cards by currency, easy card creation and customization, transparent transaction history and status

The result is a product that gives users full control, clarity, and confidence when managing virtual cards globally.

Key Features

  1. Multi-Card, Multi-Currency Dashboard

  2. Centralized Card Management

  3. Seamless Card Funding & Transfers

  4. Clear Transaction History & Status

  5. Simple Virtual Card Creation

Result

The final design delivered:

  • A unified experience for managing multiple virtual cards

  • Reduced cognitive load when switching between currencies

  • Improved visibility into balances and transaction history

  • A scalable card system that supports future currencies and features

  • A premium, trustworthy look aligned with fintech standards

Although this was a concept-led project, the design demonstrates a real-world solution to a common fintech problem faced by global users.

Takeaway

  • Centralization is critical for fintech products handling multiple financial instruments.

  • Multi-currency experiences must prioritize clarity and hierarchy over visual complexity.

  • Users need reassurance at every step when money is involved — status, confirmations, and visibility matter.

  • Designing for scale ensures the product can grow with additional currencies and card types.

  • Virtual card experiences should feel simple, secure, and empowering, not overwhelming.
